Leave Every Place Better: Bhopal citizens join campaign for clean environment



Bhopal: A special program was organized by non-government organization Crew (CREW) in collaboration with Royal Enfield and Sanctuary Asia on the occasion of World Environment Day on Sunday, June 5 in Bhopal.

In this program, about 4 dozen motorcyclists gathered under the aegis of Royal Enfield at 8 am in the Ekant Park located at Char Imli (in front of CBI office) riding through various routes of the city. The riders, along with other citizens took part in the specially organized cleanliness drive. A large number of participants were students.

The program, with the motto “Leave Every Place Better”, was implemented by Earth Day Network India.

Students from Institute of Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE), Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, and IPER College specially participated in this program.

Ajatshatru Shrivastava, former Bhopal Commissioner and Secretary in the CM’s Secretariat, AR Singh, Chief Engineer PWD, Madhya Pradesh Government, KK Rahi (Retired IAS Officer), President of the NGO “Hum”, Founder President of CREW, Lalit Shastri, and Venkat Rao of Royal Enfield, were present on the occasion.
